Born and raised in the UK with a Nigerian heritage, our Dr. Onwubalili (affectionately known as Dr. David) practices as a GP and Urgent Care Practitioner in London and doubles as a professional voiceover artist. With such deep and sensual tones, Dr. David’s voice is engaging and reassuring like a soothing lullaby and yet reverberates with a wisdom that grips you to his every word. We liken his voice to the clear sophistication of the piano mixed with the rich resonance of the saxophone; and we’re not great at maths but we know that piano + saxophone = absolute magic.

Committed to the oath of saving lives, our very calm Dr. David balances his dedication to medicine with honing his voice through the power of music; as a keen chorister, he sang in classical and gospel choirs since his early teens. Singing bestowed our good doctor with an acute appreciation for vocal tempo, texture, volume, intonation, saturation and control of his voice which makes him a master of voiceover work.
Dr. David has a good command of several languages – medical language included! – and is fluent in Igbo, the native language in South-eastern Nigeria. He has experienced Africa, The Middle East and Europe, enjoying the exploration and exposure to different cultures around the world, and is welcomed by all who knows him.
We think Dr. David is an excellent addition to Ace Voices with such wonderfully varied skills from medical and scientific knowledge to artistic singing and languages. Dr. David is currently an active member of a London Gospel choir and is helping the NHS combat Covid-19 – we are truly proud to have him as our Ace Talent! Dr. David, we salute you!
